Collaborative projects:
- Colorimetric Nanostructures for Protein Kinase Trials (CorNr PoKeT): This work was initially funded by a Faculty Professional Development Fund (FPDF) grant at Colorado Mesa University, but has grown well beyond that preliminary venture. Project CorNr PoKeT entailed development of nanomaterials to be used for assaying protein kinase activity, without the need for hazardous radioisotopes (e.g. 32P) or expensive antibodies. This was a collaborative project with Lohse research group, but became dormant when said research group departed Colorado Mesa University for its new home at Central Washington University.
