- Colorimetric Nanostructures for Protein Kinase Trials (CorNr PoKeT): This work was initially funded by a Faculty Professional Development Fund (FPDF) grant at Colorado Mesa University, but has grown well beyond that preliminary venture. Project CorNr PoKeT entails development of nanomaterials that can be used for assaying protein kinase activity, without the need for hazardous radioisotopes or expensive antibodies. This is a collaborative project with Lohse research group in its new home at Central Washington University (also relocated from Colorado Mesa University).
