Bio:
Batton Acree is currently a student at Colorado Mesa University studying Biology (Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology specialization. He has already graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Being from Grand Junction and wanting to do research while he went for his second bachelor’s degree, he decided to join LEoPARD at CMU. After graduating from CMU, he wants to attend graduate school in biochemistry. While also attending school Batton is a wildland firefighter, fighting fires across Mesa County during the summer and part of the school year. Batton likes to spend his free time hiking 14ers and traveling to national parks.
