Jessica Lynn McFarland is a Chemistry graduate (also minoring in Japanese) from Ursinus College. Originally from North Wales, Pennsylvania, she began her undergraduate studies at Ursinus in Fall 2013. In her time with the Dieni Research Group, her project was to investigate the potential interference of engineered nanomaterials (ENMs) with common biochemical assays.
During her spare time, she partook in a number of extra-curricular activities, including WVOU (the Ursinus radio station), B’Naturals (an all-girl a Capella choir), and the Beardwood Chemical Society.
Following her graduation from Ursinus, Jessica pursued graduate studies in Forensic Science at Cedar Crest College.
