Chris’ newest manuscript has just been accepted by the peer-reviewed journal Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotheraphy. The manuscript, for which Chris is the 3rd author, is entitled “Prevention and treatment of virulent bacterial biofilms with an enzymatic nitric oxide-releasing dressing.” This manuscript explores both the bactericidal and anti-biofilm potential of this dressing against Acinetobacter baumannii, methicillin-resistant Staphlococcus aureus (MRSA), and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The study also contrasts the potency of the dressing with other medical treatments.
