Today, Chris volunteered as a judge for the Atlantic regional competition of the Sanofi BioGENEius Challenge Canada 2013. This event was hosted by Mount Allison University. The competition brings together high school students from across the Atlantic provinces, who have partnered with research mentors from academia and government, to design and execute a research project with practical biotechnological applications.
The projects were very impressive, and the winning team of today’s competition will advance to the national-level competition held in Ottawa, with the possibility of advancing to the international-level competition. Congratulations to all students who participated!
