If you’ve been keeping up with the daily news headlines as of late, you’ve probably noticed that the toxin known as ricin has been making a substantial appearance- an Elvis impersonator from Mississippi has sent US President Barack Obama and others envelopes containing suspected ricin.
Chris was interviewed yesterday by Mr. Ian Hamilton of CBC Radio Syndication for his expertise in biochemistry and toxicology, and asked to share some thoughts about ricin. An audio file was generated, distributed, and aired at 17 local stations including: Whitehorse, Kelowna, Yellowknife, Iqaluit, Thunder Bay, Windsor, Quebec City, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Charlottetown, Ottawa, Sydney, Gander, Corner Brook, St. John’s, Kitchener and Victoria.
